Lelia and Scott Dodson survived a terrible accident yesterday. They are stiff and sore but unscathed other than bumps and bruises. The accident was caused by an alleged drunk driver (18 I think). He sideswiped them and flipped his car making their car flip over on it's side.
I had written an article for one of my sites adfiller.com about what I thought about the content that we were giving away to these big web sites. If you get a chance please read "Writers We Need You". Well, the same thing is true for rpnewspaper. I need stories that people outside of the family will come here to read.
I received a report this afternoon that our sweet Fran was arrested for spouse abuse. If the reports are accurate, she may be in the Leon County jail even as I type this news report. The details are sketchy but it seems the police were called after neighbors heard a loud noise coming from their house.
Well a lot going on these days. I am trying to learn tutorial and some new web techniques. I have been studying up on "How to Survive Obama".
So I have been really working on rntoday.com, trying to get it off the ground. I looked at the stats for this web site and they were pretty dismal. Seems my most read articles are the about the Sarah Palin Doll and the one about a Pea Sheller. Go figure. Next was a Fishing article. The one I wrote Adfiller.com was about travel nursing and the misspelling of the name. The article was called "Ravel Nurse Careers". So news, have I got any?...
I had forgotten much of this. But, our grandmother, Viola Collins Riddle traveled more than 100 miles on a buggy to march in a demonstration for the vote in Pensacola. Thelma Riddle Spell, Uncle Charles' daughter, who was born in 1910, said Grandpa A. B. and Grandma Viola came to their house in 1917, when she was 7, and that her mother, Chloe, and Grandmother Riddle, marched in the parade.
"Local Songwriter/Singer Aims Song for Palin's Ear"
When McCain's VP Sarah Palin lands in Pensacola this Tuesday local singer songwriter and Milton resident Terry Lewis hopes to greet her with a song. Lewis would like to get a CD of his original song "Sarah Barracuda" to the candidate so she can hear it.
I guess I am just posting too much political stuff. But nobody else is sending anything in so I guess I will just keep on until I get some more news from you guys. CLICK TO SEE VIDEO

Well it has been a good and bad month for our family and extended family. It still doesn’t seem real that Glen and Edwin are gone and Mother is the only one standing. She did very well through the funeral day. When we returned to her home as she was exiting my car she said – I had a very nice day – then she smiled that cute smile she has and said – I guess I really shouldn’t say that. I told her at 83 if she had a good day she might as well say it. She was very happy to be with her people. You all make up her people and she loves you all very much. She has not wanted to attend any funerals since Daddy’s – just too hard. She had a really hard time at Margaret’s (as did all of us) and that is why she didn’t make it to Uncle Reese’s.
Quick Note here. We are back up and running. I will try to update the site and put some new things on here. If you did not know, we were hacked. Just the price
A video tutorial for how to submit articles to the newspaper. This is for you family members who need to know exactly how to submit an article. I will take it
I decided I better give everyone a status of what I know for hurricane damage. My sister Judy lives in Kentucky – and she might as well can Cincinnati since
